Little Apple - The dance routine that became an in Little Apple - The dance routine that became an internet sensation!

We are pleased to release a new film 小苹果 (Little Apple) based on an extremely popular C-Pop song by the Chopstick Brothers with its accompanying dance routine that became an internet sensation.

The film features actors from About Face, a leading UK learning disability theatre company, based in Leominster, Herefordshire. Although the song is sung in Chinese (with English subtitles), the Little Apple tune is extremely catchy – so watch out!

A passage from 'Looking beyond Skin through Apples' by Rocky Mol Selvaraj:

'India’s Caste system is one of the most rigid and resilient social stratifications that has challenged the passage of time and is conserved through familial traditions and culture. It is an extremely complex structure with its beauty and contradictions – like that of skin. Determined by birth, caste is an inescapable skin that shapes daily life and social interactions.'

Rocky Mol Selvaraj hails from Pudukkottai in South-West India.
